Dear Friends-
It has taken me a while to be able to write this post. We lost our sweet Bubu on May 25, 2009.
As everyone who followed his blog knows, Bubu was a silly pug with a lot to say-–mostly about cookies! In fact, that was his favorite subject and his favorite past time.
But he also liked a long, lazy nap while we watched Perry Mason. He liked to dig and scratch for Daddy’s toes when they were hidden from view. He like to dress up and have his picture taken, mostly because he knew that after the camera flashed, he was sure to get a cookie.
He liked putting on his clothes (aka his harness) because it meant we were on the go. And he loved to go… anywhere and everywhere. He never met a stranger and everyone who met him could see instantly how special he was.
He came to us from Little Angels Pug Rescue in Los Angeles, and I’m convinced he really was an angel. Sent to make our lives richer for having known him. Sent to teach us to always be happy and grateful, no matter what life throws at you.
But mostly, he would probably say… Eat cookies with abandon because, really, it’s all about the cookie!
He was: The Electric Bubuloo, Sassy Pug, The Bu and My Pug Boy.
Goodbye Bubu. We miss you.

Sweet Bubu how we miss you pretty little face. What an adorable picture your Mom picked for your final post. Poppy, Casey and Nana loved you very much. I hope you are getting all the cookies you can eat in heaven.

so sorry, I felt like I knew Bubba personally, loved the photos. keep the fond memories but get another dog to love ( or one that needs your love)

I’m so sorry to hear about Bubu- I loved reading his blog and he always brought a smile to my face. This post has tears streaming down my face…. we lost our sweet pug Max 2 years ago and I miss him every day. I love the quote you posted, it is so true! Hugs to you and hope you are doing okay. Bubu will be missed.

Bubu has lots of pug friends to play with at the Rainbow Bridge, including our Holly who passed on earlier this year. Run free Bubu!

So very sorry to hear about BuBu passing. You gave him a good life and I’m sure he made your life better. I know he made a lot of people happy reading about him. It is hard but remember all the happy times you had together.

I complete understand. We lost our little Cleo Pug this past May as well. She was such a part and love of our life and we still miss her dearly.

Oh..I have not been by in so long and I’m sad to see Bubu has passed on but I know he is in good company with all of our loved ones! Bubu was very special to me because he had that cookie stare! He was a good-looking boy.
