Hello, My Name Is Bubu…
It occured to me today that although I have been working on this “blog” for about a month now, I have never really introduced myself. So here’s the scoop…
I am Bubu. I am a pug, as you can see. I was adopted by my forever Mommy and Daddy on Aug. 22, ‘03, from the Little Angels Pug Rescue. Now I live in Burbank, CA, in the good ‘ole USA. I love it here because I get to sleep in the big bed. I snort, sneeze and snore exceptionally loudly. I like naps and cookies. Mostly cookies. Between naps and cookies, I like to sit in the kitchen and wait for a cookie, or sit in mommy’s office and wait for a cookie or, do cute things, so I can get a cookie. Occasionally, I watch squirrels play in the arbor by our pool, or bark at the brindled cat that has decided to make our patio furniture a permanent home. (I call him the “squat cat” because he is squatting in our yard!) I love to watch TV. I especially love to chase horses and dogs on shows like Deadwood and America’s Funniest Home Videos. I pledge pug-loyalty to anyone who will scratch my ears and give me a cookie. I do not like walks. In fact, I almost always refuse to go and Mommy has to practically drag me. Until I see my girlfriend, that is. Princess is a Border Collie who lives down the street. She is sooo beautiful and sweet. We rub noses and sniff. I like to sniff things. I will sniff everything that is around. I sniff paper, shoes, bugs, you name it. I will usually forget I have sniffed something, and have to re-sniff. Mommy finds this frustrating, I think. Sniffing is probably my most favorite thing to do, with the exception of eating cookies. Yea, for me it’s pretty much all about the cookies….
