I Thought I Was A Pug…

…but instead it turns out I’m a Widget!
Also, as it turns out, my Daddy is a huge geek. And one
of the cool things he’s discovered is that in the new
Apple OS X Tiger, I can become a Widget. He says
Widgets are small programs that give you information
at a glance.
I said I thought a cookie Widget sounded delicious, but
he said you can’t eat Widgets. Besides, he thought people
would like to see my darlin’ face on their desktop.
You can download my widget by clicking here.
Daddy says this is the stuff Apple says we have to
have on here to use the Widget:
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you’re using Safari,
click the download link. When the widget download is
complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display
the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget
Bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than Safari,
click the download link. When the widget download is
complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/
in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign
to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in
the Widget Bar to open it.

Dear Bubu,
I’m so glad your Daddy is a geek, he has brought you to the attention of the (I’m sure, dog loving) Mac world! I now have your wigit on my desktop, and I look foward to catching up with you each day!
perhaps you could share a cookie with daddy to thank him!

Bubu,
Nice little blog here, my wife especially like it. Do you suppose your Daddy might be willing to make Konfabulator widget for us 10.3 holdouts?
Have a great day,
Matt

Thanks for kind words.
David, I TRIED to share a cookie once. But before I knew it, I had already eaten it.
Matt, I’ll ask him. Now give me a cookie.
Love,
Bubu
